I love caller ID. It’s one of the greatest inventions in the entire world. You can see who is calling before you answer the phone! Genius. Because of caller ID I haven’t answered my phone since 2003.
But caller ID only gives you the number and, sometimes the name of the person who is calling in. What if you need more info? What if you are being harassed by a prank caller and you want to report them to the cops. What if you are trying to dodge a creditor and you just don’t recognize that number? What if you are trying to catch a cheating spouse or lover?
