After 8 years together Kris Gamble and I broadcast our show together for the last time. It was heartfelt, tearful, bittersweet…and there was cake!

    Hi Mark,

I worked for 6 years on air in DC at Z104. Actually Ron Ross was the one who first hired me at Z.

I listened to you and Kris every morning on Hot 99.5. I looked forward to your lost talk and Starbucks psychic so much. I turned off hot 99.5 when Kane took over. You guys were awesome.

I have been in Raleigh for the past 2 years at Y102.9. I just read on DCRTV that your morning show was splitting up.

Just wanted to say you guys were the one morning show I looked forward to listening to each day. Good Luck and continued success.

I listened to you guys on Hot 99.5 up in DC until I moved down to Jax in ’06. I was so happy that you followed me down here. Now I’m sad again that Kris left the Mess.

Good luck, Kris, where ever you are…

Why did she leave? Where did she go?

    Where did Kris go?

  5. Mark Kaye says:

She retired from radio and moved back home….

    We’ll miss her!

  6. Angelina Ghaz says:

You need to make an anouncement on the radio about what happened to Kris, for those of us who liked to listen to her.

  7. Mark Kaye says:

We did make an announcement! Hear the audio in the post above!

  8. Kenny Turner says:

I remember this, the 30th was my 34th Birthday. It was sad to hear that she was leaving after having been on the show for so long!

I miss you and Kris from Hot 99.5 in DC. Loser Kane totally sucks!!!! I am now totally boycotting that horrible radio station. I was heartbroken when you guys left – you are my favorite radio personalities ever. Really bummed to know you guys have since “broken up,” but since I never took the chance to tell you how great you were while you were here, I just wanted to send a shout out & tell you that we really miss you in DC.
