*Internet Rockstar* Shoemoney.com Founder Jeremy Schoemaker Spills It!
If you spend as much time online as I do then you probably have a favorite blog. My wife, for example, swings by TMZ.com and Celebrity-Babies.com at least once a day. My co-host Kris spends hours on Cuteoverload and JDate (not a blog, but one of her favs.) And my mother, who is WAY too into Virtual Worlds is addicted to iVinnie.com.
Well, I have two favorite blogs: This one, and Shoemoney.com by Jeremy Schoemaker.
Shoemoney.com is more than just “Skills to Pay the Bills” as the meta-tag title claims. It is one half online money-making manual and one-half techno-geek personal diary. Instructional posts about Yahoo Search Marketing and the latest changes to Google Adsense are intertwined with “Airline Travel Tips” and photos of Jeremy’s home office, Hummer H2, and dog (not in that order.)
But aside from a REALLY interesting site, Jeremy Schoemaker is best known for one thing: the check he got from Google for $132, 994.97. For cyber-geeks and online entrepreneurs, it is legend. For Jeremy Schoemaker, it’s a day’s pay.
