day110If you listen to my show, follow me on twitter, or eavesdrop on my phone conversations then you know my new favorite reality show is ABC’s Shark Tank. It’s killer! So, when ABC asked me to interview one of The Sharpest Sharks in the tank, I jumped at the chance.

Daymond John, for those of you who haven’t yet caught on to the Shark Tank phenomenon, is the mastermind behind FUBU. He built his fortune by dressing hip hop stars like LL Cool J, Puff Daddy, Jay Z, and, well, pretty much everyone else.

Today, Daymond uses his multi-million dollar fortune to build even more wealth by investing in companies, ideas, and individuals. He’s funny, he’s quick, and he knows what he’s talking about. Just listen to this:

kimkardbottomI love Kim Kardashian. I think she is very beautiful and, despite her past indiscretions a very cool person. I’m also a fan of Reggie Bush who I think makes a much better choice than Ray J.

This morning Kim called in to pump her new shoe line at ShoeDazzle.com and talk about the new season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” We also got the latest on her deep desire to wed a certain “New Orleans Saint.”

Do you think Kim and Reggie would make a GREAT couple? Leave your comment below.

We made the big leagues yesterday with a mention on PerezHilton.com.

Apparently, Perez is a HUGE fan of The Jonas Brothers. He always slobbers over them on his website. Well, as a direct result, The Jonas Brothers are huge fans of Perez Hilton. So, we asked Kevin Jonas about the mutual admiration society and he was SUPER happy to gush about Perez on our show.

Perez posted to audio. Click here to hear it now.

Sharmen Lane: Manicurist to MillionaireSharmen Lane is an amazing woman. I know because she told me. Well, she didn’t come right out and bellow “I am an AMAZING woman!” But I could hear it in her tone, her confidence, and her story.

Shar started out selling pizza part-time and eventually worked her way up to selling wholesale mortgages worth millions of dollars. Now she shares all of her incredible stories and inspirational messages in a series of seminars, books, and motivational materials that can help anybody realize their full potential and accomplish all of their dreams and desires. You can learn all about her at SharSpeaks.com.

I was honored to have the chance to interview her. Listen for yourself and you’ll know what I mean:

Shar also stresses the importance of generosity. You can’t get if you don’t give. That is one of her main philosophies in life and it is one of the reasons she is as successful as she is. A generous heart will be met with abundance…sounds really deep, but trust me. It’s true!

As a token of her generosity Sharmen Lane is offering everyone who reads this post a copy of her book The 7 Secrets To Create Your Fate for the drastically reduced price of $1.00.

$1.00!

It’s a BOOK for a BUCK!

That’s the best deal you will get all day so I suggest you jump on it. I’ve read the book and believe me it’s worth a whole lot more. In fact, if you buy it, read it, and still don’t think that it was the best dollar you ever spent then you can send me an email and I will mail you your dollar back (minus 42 cents for postage, of course. And 58 cents handling.)

FARK.com Founder Drew Curtis is a Funny Mother Farker!

fark1.jpgI love FARK.com. I steal find inspiration from it daily. It is a news site made specifically for people just like me: Childish, demented, risque, cynical, creative, and devilishly funny. First you start with a heaping helping of daily news from around the globe. Mix it with off-colored and mildly offensive humor, top with sarcasm, add a pinch of hate, serve cold with a side of boobies. That is FARK.com.

Drew Curtis is the “farking genius” behind the keyboard. From central Kentucky he has created an army of over 4 million “Farkers” (myself included) who keep each other informed and entertained by tirelessly trying to “out insult” the rest of the world. Then we all go out and get drunk.

Between combing through the thousands of link submissions and a keeping up with his liquid barley diet, Drew Curtis found six and a half minutes to talk with me. Listen to my interview with Drew Curtis below and then send it to a “Farkin’ friend.”

*Internet Rockstar* Shoemoney.com Founder Jeremy Schoemaker Spills It!

shoe1.gifIf you spend as much time online as I do then you probably have a favorite blog. My wife, for example, swings by TMZ.com and Celebrity-Babies.com at least once a day. My co-host Kris spends hours on Cuteoverload and JDate (not a blog, but one of her favs.) And my mother, who is WAY too into Virtual Worlds is addicted to iVinnie.com.

Well, I have two favorite blogs: This one, and Shoemoney.com by Jeremy Schoemaker.

Shoemoney.com is more than just “Skills to Pay the Bills” as the meta-tag title claims. It is one half online money-making manual and one-half techno-geek personal diary. Instructional posts about Yahoo Search Marketing and the latest changes to Google Adsense are intertwined with “Airline Travel Tips” and photos of Jeremy’s home office, Hummer H2, and dog (not in that order.)

But aside from a REALLY interesting site, Jeremy Schoemaker is best known for one thing: the check he got from Google for $132, 994.97. For cyber-geeks and online entrepreneurs, it is legend. For Jeremy Schoemaker, it’s a day’s pay.

Listen to my interview below and go inside the mind of an online money-making master.

Visit Shoemoney.com for more information.

Blake Lewis From American Idol Hates Sanjaya, Taylor Hicks, and David Archuletta’s Father

BlakeBlake Lewis is best known as the beat-boxing runner-up from American Idol Season 6. He has been one of the lucky ones and has actually completed an album. That’s where his luck runs out as he is struggling to get airplay for his first single “Break Anotha” or the recently released “How Many Words.” So, he’s on a cross-country media tour drumming up support for himself and try to peddle as many albums as possible….oh, and sharing his candid thoughts about his least-favorite competitor, Sanjaya Malakar. Here is the clip:

Off the air he also told us that he got into a tiff with David Archuletta’s Stage-dad Jeff. And when asked about Season 5 Winner Taylor Hicks, Blake pulled no punches: “America voted…for a D-bag!”

5403-b14.jpgTim Gunn is quite possibly the most genuinely pleasant person I have ever met. He is also, one the most popular guests we have ever had in studio. Phones ringing for hours…before, during, and after his appearance. With good reason. He is funny, well-spoken, and full of great fashion advice.

He shared with us:

  • His 10 Women’s Wardrobe Essentials
  • What you should NEVER do when it comes to clothes
  • Who he thought would win Project Runaway

Hope you enjoy!
