Blake Lewis From American Idol Hates Sanjaya, Taylor Hicks, and David Archuletta’s Father

Blake Lewis is best known as the beat-boxing runner-up from American Idol Season 6. He has been one of the lucky ones and has actually completed an album. That’s where his luck runs out as he is struggling to get airplay for his first single “Break Anotha” or the recently released “How Many Words.” So, he’s on a cross-country media tour drumming up support for himself and try to peddle as many albums as possible….oh, and sharing his candid thoughts about his least-favorite competitor, Sanjaya Malakar. Off the air he also told us that he got into a tiff with David Archuletta’s Stage-dad Jeff. And when asked about Season 5 Winner Taylor Hicks, Blake pulled no punches: “America voted…for a D-bag!”

What an idiot. He doesn’t seem to realize that Sanjaya is far more entertaining and a much better singer than he is.
ORLY? IMO Sanjaya got a free ride…. Blake aint special either, but Sanjaya just plain out sux… And define entertaining… Im not sure what about sanjaya u found entertaining – he’s a homo with an afro who talking like a prepubescent richard simmons…. I get more entertainment in a head-on collision…. Gimme a break… you can be a sanjaya fan, but in being so, you have GOT to kno he’s a dumbass…. Its like routing for your favorite kid in the special olympics – sure he can kinda run, but he’s still retarded…
Sanjaya lacked the talent to even be on American Idol. He had a less than mediocre voice and I don’t know why those little teenybopper girls cried over him.
Blake is very talented & a great entertainer! When the AI tour came to town over the summer, his set was the most entertaining & original! The FL Times even said so!

What a jerk. You can’t sell records, so just trash talk everyone. Hate to tell him, but he didn’t deserve to get as far as he did either. He shouldn’t have made it past the top 7.
It sounds to me that fame is going to Blake’s head a bit. I agree that Sanjaya was horrendous but what the beat-boxer-extraordinaire needs to remember is the America that kept Sanjaya around for so long is the same America that voted him into the runner up position. What does that tell ya? As far as his album goes it sounds about as good as Catherine McPhee’s valient effort. A little tip for Blake: lose the ‘tude because America might like Sanjaya but they definitely don’t like assholes.

Yeah. Blake was right. I like the entertainment American Idol provides, but it’s not a real singing contest. It’s all about viewer numbers.. Sanjaya should not have ever been in the top ten to begin with. period, no question.
The female interviewer is not tactful at all. Blake is too bitter. Sanjaya has class.

I used to think this guy was talented. Looks like the bloated ego has surpassed the creativity because his music sucks and all he seems to be able to do is tear other people down. Sanjaya, a bad singer but more talented and creative than this clown, should take comfort in knowing that the runner up is shallow, jealous and is spending his waning “15 minutes of fame” tearing other people down to distract from his lack of appeal.
Wow, Blake sounds like a true winner. I wonder why his career is going nowhere.

Couldn’t have put it better. Sanjaya is classy enough never to trash talk anyone. He’s got a better vocal range than the Hobbit too. Blake is an ungrateful, unprofessional, bitter and talentless little tool.
Sanjaya’s a fantastic entertainer whose live performances are improving. He’s also doing a lot of charity appearances including the bat mitzvah. I know whose CD I’ll be buying. In fact, thanks to this jerk, I’ll buy two.
Blake actually has a weaker voice than Sanjaya, but he had more experience performing going into the American Idol competition, so he wasn’t as nervous. His voice is not good. All he has is the beatboxing, which is getting old. That’s why his album isn’t selling. And, unfortunately, publicly trashing a fellow contestant is unprofessional and classless and is only going to bring him down further.
This little punk calls Taylor Hicks a “dirtbag”? I’m sorry, but why? I saw Taylor in concert and thought he was beyond great. He’s a sweetie-pie, too.
I never felt one way or another about Blake, but I guess he thinks his brand of talent is the only legitimate kind.
As for me, I look forward to seeing Taylor again and will buy any CD he releases. The man just appeals to me BIG TIME!
I was never a fan of both blake and sanjaya, but i agree that insulting a fellow contestant on air is really unprofessional and ureasonable…He should have think wisely before doing so. Totally gonna jacked up your career man!

Hey, Sanjaya was not horrendous,and if you buy and read his book you will discover that Simon and Paula loved Sanjaya all through the tryouts,and Sanjaya was ahead of Blake all the time. Blake was a maybe, but Sanjaya was running right up there with Jordin. Blake is a looser,and our family is over Blake’s hideous arrogant self promoting comments. Sanjaya has and had a wonderful voice. You won’t hear Sanjaya lowering himself to put down the pitiful attitude of Blake.We can however feel sorry for Blake.

Blake obviously is a biased judge of talent.His opinion of what fans enjoy listening to is narrow,and mocks all the millions of us who propelled Sanjaya into Stardom. We listen to Sanjaya all day,and can’t get enough. We also enjoy watching him,Sanjaya, who just ooozzes Star Power,emerge into a dynamic personality….rather than listen to an older, so called experienced guy who seems so full of himself. Poor pitiful Blake !!!
