His broadcasting honors include AIR Awards (Achievement in Radio) for “Best Morning Drive Show” and “Best New Talent in the Market.” Mark Kaye is known and respected in the radio industry as someone who has an amazing work ethic and consistently drives ratings “through the roof” earning #1 rankings in his daypart. Before making the move to the Sunshine State, Mark Kaye produced and hosted top rated programs in Raleigh, NC, Monmouth/Ocean, NJ, and Washington, DC.

As the premiere morning drive host on HOT 99.5 in Washington, DC, Mark Kaye led a charge to move his morning show from 11th to 1st place in just a few years.

Then, in just a few short months, , Mark took the WAPE Morning Show to #1 in the market (from 5th place.) He has since doubled the audience and eliminated the competition, and his numbers in Jacksonville are still climbing!

While in Washington, DC, Mark Kaye introduced an innovative and popular cross-promotion news segment called “Hot Talk” which aired weekly on the local NBC News (WRC-TV NBC 4.) This unique marketing strategy was a major promotional win-win for both outlets. NBC received weekly exposure on Washington’s #1 Morning Radio Show and Mark Kaye benefited from free publicity on Washington’s most watched news channel.

Upon landing in Jacksonville, Mark Kaye struck a deal with the Washington Post Owned WJXT-TV to air Hot Talk during their top-rated morning show via live feed from the WAPE studios.
